“I discovered photography only around my thirties. Now photography is my only job.”
Intercru: Where are you from?
Edoardo: I was born in the countryside of Northwest Italy, in an area called “Monferrato.”
Where do you live and work now?
I live in Turin and I’m a full-time photographer.
What really makes you happy?
Going out and take some photos. I can’t live without that routine.
What’s your favorite movie or TV show right now?
I don’t really watch too many TV shows at the moment. I used to, but I prefer movies. But I would have to say that Blade Runner (1982) is my favorite movie.
What is the best gift you’ve ever been given?
Definitely my first camera!
What’s your favorite season of the year?
Summer! I was born during the first day of summer and I loved that season since the beginning.
Warm days, many hours of daylight, no other season beats summer.
Who’s your favorite band or musician?
I don’t have a favorite artist, I usually listen to different kind of music in relation of different moods.
What’s your proudest accomplishment?
Being where I am now. I graduated university with a computer science degree and I discovered photography only around my thirties. Now photography is my only job. I’m so happy for that.
Where do you find creative inspiration?
From music, to movies, to photography of all time.
In 3 words how would you describe yourself?
Precise, curious, obstinate.
What’s your favorite color?
Red.
Who is your biggest hero?
It goes without saying: my father.
