Intercru: Where are you from?  Where do you live / work now?

Hi, my name is Dany! I live and shoot in Russia, in the small town of Krasnodar.

How did you first get into photography?

I always had a creative streak in my childhood- I studied at an art school. Then I started producing shootings for the showroom: I was looking for models, makeup artists, and photographers, I shot only on the iPhone. So I made a lot of observations.  From there, I decided that it was time to buy a camera and devote myself to photography.

What feelings do you like to express with your art?

It always depends on the model, her mood, image, or the location in different ways.  Of course, I want my works to inspire and be remembered at least on Instagram haha.

Where do you find inspiration in your work?  

Movies, TV shows...I love Netflix, Pinterest, foreign and legendary photographers. Beautiful people and beautiful light also inspire me.

What do you like most about photography and photo shoots?  

Energy exchange with model and team. I enjoy the process, especially when we are on the same wavelength with the model, when she trusts me, and when I fall in love with what is happening.

What’s the best photography advice you’ve ever gotten?  

Dress comfortably for shooting. If it’s cold outside, wear warm clothes. If it’s sunny and hot, dress properly so that you are comfortable in the process, but also do not forget to look stylish and inspiring. The photographer also needs to be beautiful on the other side of the lens.
