How did you get started in photography?

It was actually my ex who was the one that pushed me into doing photography. She knew it was something I had been wanting to do for a while, but was too afraid to get into. So I owe her one for that, really.

Once we broke up, I used photography as a means to keep myself busy and distracted from the situation, especially since we were still living together at the time. However, it slowly turned into something that I actually really loved doing, so I am currently working on turning it into my full-time business. It’s been a rough process, but I can’t imagine anything better than making a living by doing what I love.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

When it comes to photography, I don’t think I have one specific person that I look up to. There are many very amazing photographers whose work I admire. By studying specific elements of each of their work, I try to blend it all into my own unique style.

How would you define your creative style?

Truthfully, I have no idea. Some people tend to say my work is provocative because of the fact that I shoot predominantly women. But I wouldn’t say that being provocative is the goal of my photography.

I also don’t think my images necessarily have stories behind them, like is often the case. I honestly just aim to create beautiful images and try to outdo myself every time.

Where do you go to look for creative inspiration?

I usually find inspiration by looking at the work of other photographers, watching movies, or just purely listening to music while letting my imagination run wild.
