Masculinity is a project to question the meaning of this word. The definition of masculine and feminine is something I do not agree with, as I believe it is a social imposition that started many years ago that in the end does not benefit anyone.

I put together a team that I trust, and this was the result. I couldn’t be happier. Masculinity is delicate, bold, and deep.

The look we had envisioned was clean and sharp. I wanted to enhance the models natural masculine features. This is why I added the white lines to accompany the outfit. Simple yet very effective.

I believe that this idea of separating clothing and having a man only wear men’s clothing and a woman only wear women’s clothing is completely outdated.

You should play and experiment with fashion like we did when we were younger. Androgynous dressing has been around for a long time, but for some reason it’s 2021 and clothing is still gendered.

That’s why I wanted to be a part of this shoot, to remind people that society came up with these rules of dressing for your gender and we can just as easily break them.
